Profhilo
Profhilo is not a dermal filler; it is a revolutionary, powerful, and versatile skin bio-remodelling injectable product.
Although it contains hyaluronic acid, Profhilo has a lighter, more fluid consistency than a dermal filler and is composed of a hybrid cooperative complex of both low- and high-molecular-weight pure hyaluronic acid, 64mg/2ml syringe, which triggers fibroblast (skin cell) activity. This composition also allows it to spread effortlessly beneath the skin.
Different to the volumising effect of hyaluronic acid gels in dermal fillers, Profhilo enhances, hydrates, and stimulates the overall treated area rather than focusing on correcting specific lines, folds, or contours, providing a natural-looking rejuvenation without the risk of lumps or bumps.
It works by stimulating the production of four different types of collagens and elastin to improve skin quality: remodelling the tissue by stimulating types I & II, responsible for skin strength and elasticity, and types IV & VII, to improve the junction between the epidermis and dermis to improve skin structure. The foundation of Profhilo is its NAHYCO® Hybrid technology, which uses a thermal production process, without chemical cross-linking agents, to form a hybrid complex of two types of hyaluronic acid molecules.
Profhilo can be used to achieve a more youthful appearance, improving skin texture on the face, smoothing and tightening crepey skin on the neck, restoring youthful, plumper skin on the backs of the hands, and improving skin elasticity on the arms. While it is not injected directly around the eyes, Profhilo can effectively enhance the area as a consequence of injection lower on the face, smoothing the under-eye region with minimal downtime.
The treatment involves a series of injections at five specific points on each side of the face, allowing the formula to disperse evenly across the mid and lower face. Similar treatment patterns are used when targeting the neck and hands.
