HydraFacial treatment follows the philosophy of Skin Health for Life, delivering incremental improvements to skin quality over regular treatments that deeply cleanse, exfoliate, extract and hydrate the skin.

Specialised booster serums deliver ingredient combinations to target specific skin needs, and nourishing hydration serums deliver botanical ingredients, including powerful antioxidants that counteract the damage caused by free radicals from pollution and sun exposure, hyaluronic acid that hydrates the skin, and peptides that fuel natural skin correction.

Your HydraFacial treatment can be personalised to your needs using different steps and targeted boosters within one of our HydraFacial packages (HydraFacial Signature or Express, HydraFacial Deluxe, HydraFacial Platinum, or HydraMacial).

HydraFacial is a pen-like, hand-held device fitted with specially shaped tips with patented Vortex technology that optimally removes debris and cleanses using hydradermabrasion and vacuum suction to extract the 'gunk'. The machine also pushes chosen ampoules of targeted serums (boosters) into the skin to address specific skin concerns, removing impurities, nourishing, and hydrating the skin. The treatment steps used and booster serums delivered are customised to your individual skin needs, and a course of treatment with regular maintenance is recommended for optimal improvements to skin health.

• Step 1 – DETOX: A specially formulated lymphatic drainage technique boosts circulation and eliminates toxins.
• Step 2 – CLEANSING AND EXFOLIATION: Dead skin cells and impurities are gently lifted for a deep-cleansing result.
• Step 3 – BRIGHTENING: A gentle glycolic and salicylic solution brightens your skin by loosening debris from your pores.
• Step 4 – EXTRACTION: Blackheads and impurities are lifted and extracted from congested areas using honey extract and salicylic acid.
• Step 5 – HYDRATION: A combination of hyaluronic acid, antioxidants and peptides replenish, plump and hydrate your skin.
• Step 6 – REJUVENATION: LED light is used to stimulate collagen and reduce redness, leaving your skin glowing.

Depending on the chosen treatment — HydraFacial Signature or Express, HydraFacial Deluxe, HydraFacial Platinum, or HydraMacial — additional or different booster serums may be used.

Treatment with HydraFacial is designed to achieve long-term improvements to skin health. It is used to:

• offer a skin boost to achieve a deep cleanse and restoration of radiant skin – giving an immediate glow
• improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and other signs of ageing
• lessen hyperpigmentation
• restore a dull appearance by addressing poor skin tone and texture, and increasing hydration to dry skin
• treat oily and congested skin, removing blackheads and reducing breakouts in acne-prone skin
• and address irritation caused by congestion and ingrown hairs in men

Depending on the recommended HydraFacial treatment to address your skin concerns, each treatment session will last between 30 and 75 minutes. HydraFacial can be performed as a single treatment for a 'glow-up', but we recommend a course of 4 treatments spaced 2 weeks apart, followed by regular, monthly or bi-monthly maintenance sessions.

HydraFacial is a very safe treatment, suitable for most people; men and women of all skin types, including sensitive skin.

We know that it is mainly women who might consider HydraFacial treatment, which is why we offer a bespoke package to address some of the specific skin concerns experienced by men, particularly related to facial hair. Our HydraMacial is a results-driven HydraFacial treatment tailored to male skin to target concerns such as congestion, irritation from shaving, uneven skin texture, razor bumps, and ingrown hairs.

We conduct a thorough skin consultation ahead of any planned treatment to ensure there are no factors in your medical or lifestyle history that would contraindicate you for HydraFacial treatment.

If you are currently pregnant or breastfeeding, we will be unable to provide treatment, despite it being a gentle facial treatment. We offer other pregnancy-safe treatments, so do ask the team about those.

Treatment is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin, but if you have an active facial skin infection, like herpes simplex (cold sores), dermatitis, or open wounds on your face, these will need to heal and resolve before we can treat you with HydraFacial.

Similarly, certain skin conditions, including severe eczema or psoriasis, or medications, including Roaccutane (isotretinoin) or light-sensitive medicines, may make you unsuitable for all or part of the treatment, or require additional management before we can begin treatment.

If you have recently had other aesthetic treatments, including light-based treatments with laser, chemical skin peels, or the use of topical retinoids, you will be recommended to wait a few weeks post those procedures before embarking on HydraFacial treatments.

Some of the nourishing boosters we use as part of the HydraFacial treatment may contain ingredients that can cause an allergic reaction for a minority of people. Please inform us if you have any known allergies to shellfish, honey, or aspirin (salicylic acid).

All HydraFacial treatments are performed by our highly skilled, skin specialist, medical aestheticians, following a detailed consultation and skin analysis.

There is no downtime or recovery required after HydraFacial treatment, and you can return to your normal activities immediately. Expect a little redness, like mild flushing after exercise, to your skin for an hour or so after treatment, caused by the exfoliation. We recommend avoiding applying makeup to your skin immediately after treatment.

HydraFacial is not designed to be a quick fix; however, it is great ahead of a special event, giving you an immediate glow with a more radiant skin tone after a single treatment, with initial smooth skin and improved hydration lasting around a week. Your skin will typically feel better for 2 to 4 weeks after treatment.

The best results for skin health improvement are measured over time with repeated maintenance (once every month or two) after the initial four-treatment course with targeted treatment to address skin concerns, including anti-ageing and skin rejuvenation, congestion and acne breakouts, and overall skin quality to improve skin tone, texture, large pores, pigmentation, and a dull appearance through repeated intervention tailored to your skin. With repeated treatment, you will see incremental improvements in all these areas, both from the treatment itself and the natural stimulatory effect it has upon your skin cell renewal.
